Andress High School Piano Classes taught by Mr. Valenzuela
Piano is a fun but challenging instrument to play, but, like with many other instruments and other activities, with practice you will get better! Learning proper playing technique, music theory, and music history will be included in these classes, especially in the Piano II-IV classes.
Students who are more advanced than some of their classmates will be using different textbooks, and more will be expected of these students.
Practice time outside of class will benefit the students greatly. The Piano lab will be open daily at 8am until the first bell, and after school from 3:45 - 5:00 pm, Mr. Valenzuela and Mr. Weaver may or not be physically in the room, but the room is available for individual practice time.
I have implemented a Schoology to use in class for class assignments that can be reviewed and worked on at home. To join the course, please ask Mr. Valenzuela for the code. Without the code you will be unable to access the materials.
